Everyone loves it!

As soon as I got my Astra in May, I had people asking me if it was really a Saturn. In this area people are really up on VW's and Honda's and heavily modifying them. I had a Honda Civic SI hatch roll up next to me at the light and he was suprised that I was driving a Saturn that looked so good! He asked me if we had done any modifying to it and if it was turbo-charged. Makes me happy that I have a car that people admire and want :) Now if it was only a redline...

Comment by Rikki Kirchner on July 22, 2008 at 12:02pm: I bought my Astra on February 9th and I have just over 3k miles on it now. I have other cars that I drive, so I can keep the mileage down. It is always a treat when I get to take my Astra out. My neighbors always come over to check it out when I am out washing it. I get a lot of compliments on the color. It is Twilight Blue, which looks almost like a pearl in the sun. It is a very classy car. A neighbor of mine that is into Mercedes Benz' sat in it one day and compared the interior to that of the "quality of a Mercedes". That is quite a compliment! I traded in a 2003 Saturn L300 to get this car...and although I thoroughly loved my L300, I was ready for something sporty. I got it 10-fold with this Astra.

Plus, it's good for some Ass jokes. Recently, before going to a picnic..."Let me put the EZ UP into my Asssssstra." LOL! But, there's nothing funny about the gas mileage. This is some serious stuff. I'm getting about 28 around town and 31 hwy. That is awesome. Finally, an economical car that looks great. I think Saturn has really outdone themselves this time. I'm just surprised I haven't seen more of these cars on the road. I've only seen 3 others since I bought mine in February. Kinda strange. I thought these Astras would be flying off the lots!
